Supporting Area Youth: Angel Tree Ministry

For many children and family in our communities, the Christmas season may be hard financially and emotionally. Messiah Lutheran members share God’s love by purchasing Christmas gifts for children in need during this time of year. The mission is about so much more than the gifts we give. As members of the body of Christ, we care for each other in all of our times of need and we want to spread the joy we have in the birth of our savior, Jesus Christ. It is our prayer each year that the gifts we give bless the children that receive them as well as their families and that each recipient knows God’s unfailing love.

Supporting Area Youth: School Supplies Campaign

The School Supplies Campaign (SSC) is an annual outreach project conducted by participating area churches. Their mission is to provide backpacks and school supplies to students in need attending Hamilton County schools. Students are identified through their respective schools’ guidance counselor departments. These students are provided their new backpack of school supplies for their respective grade level at the beginning of each school year.
